CT102H FIBER OPTIC 96 CORE SPLICE CLOSURE

1 Abstract

Optic joint closure: A protective device designed to manage and maintain the optic continuity, keep well sealing and duration of mechanical strength between splicing cables. It’s applicable for aerial mounting, duct mounting, pole mounting and manhole, etc… Its body is made from excellent engineering plastics, fixing parts are made of stainless material, and sealing parts are made from high quality silicon rubber. Re-entry is one of its prominent characters.

2 Area in use

CT102H dome type joint closure is strictly following up with the standard YD/T 814.1-2004, playing


a role in PON that branching and splicing drop cables from feeder cables. In FTTX, joint closure mainly solves the problems happening during such as circumstances: join cable A to B, splicing of single fiber for small capacity users, optic splitter, and multiple cables inlet and outlet.

3.2 Main mechanical performance parameters

Tensile strengthThe joint closure is able to withstand not less then 600N of axial force. Crushing resistance The joint closure is able to withstand 1500N/100mm of pressure. Impact resistanceThe joint closure is able to withstand 16N·m per time, 3 three times in total.

 

Bending capacitythe jointing area between closure and cable is able to withstand 150N of bending load, with ±45°of bending angle, 10 cycles in total.

3.3 Basic structure and dimensions

CT102H dome type of joint closure has 1 oval shape  inlet  and  3  round  shape  outlets. demonstration as below:

Please prepare the kits like screwdrivers, spanners , hacksaws,blower guns, etc... before installation

4.3 Installation

 

There are two mounting modes for GJS-Q dome type joint closure,aerial and pole mounting. Each of mode has its own related accessaries of installation.Aerial mounting accessaries for Aerial installtaion, pole mounting accessaries for pole mounting installation.
